The search box is the front door. Type a make and model, a year, or a generation code and pick a suggestion. Suggestions appear after two characters. Enter runs the highlighted one, or the first if none is highlighted.
If we have no suggestion for what you typed, we still try a direct search of the database. If nothing comes back you see "No auction data yet", with a button to set up an alert so you hear when one sells.
Generation chips
When a model has more than one generation, a row of chips appears above the results. The first is "All generations". Each other chip carries the generation code and its years, for example 996 ('99 to '04). Click one and the search reruns for those years only.
The numbers above the table
Four cards: average sale price, median price, data confidence, and total results. Confidence is high at 30 or more sales, medium from 15, low from 5, and "limited" below that. When it is low, a note reminds you that the market value may vary a lot from these figures.
Below the cards sit the price range, the trend (newer sales against older ones), and a distribution of prices into five bands.
The results table
Two tabs. "Market value" lists recorded sales and auction listings. "For sale now" lists current asking prices from dealers and marketplaces, each measured against the median of the sales.
Each row shows a photo, the source, the title with a one line summary in our own words, the price, the status (Sold, Active, Bid or Ended), the date, and a score. Under the price is a phrase such as "12% under hammer", comparing the row to the median. Click a row to expand it and open the original listing at the venue.
You can sort by title, price, status or date, filter by status and source, and set the page size. Export to CSV or PDF needs a Pro or dealer plan.
The daily limit
The free plan allows 40 searches a day, counted per account, or per connection if you are not signed in. Page changes, generation chips and the For sale now tab each count as a search. At the limit a notice offers a free account or a plan. The count resets at midnight UTC. Pro and dealer plans have no limit.
